I finished this bow last summer. I wanted to shoot several hundred arrows before I posted it.
This is one of Clint's staves from the classic in 2016. He had it on the raffle table and I tried
win it but it didn't happen. I ended up trading the winner two staves for it. This bow took a
lot of time, and I was doubtful that it was going to survive. I bought it to the classic this year
to finish it up.
I have been shooting it for several months, and had no problems, as the last picture shows.

I like it.Nice work shown with both pics.

I knew you would end up with that stave Chuck. I'm glad you did. That's a very cool bow. And that last picture proves it's a capable weapon. You need to show that deer picture to the guy at the classic who told you it would never shoot.

Very cool holey bow Chuck. Very nicely done. :OK

Awesome work Chuck, thanks for sharing

I remember Clint telling me at the 2016 classic he hoped you got that stave. You did a great job on it and I’d like to give it my vote for BOM if you choos to enter it. Great job

Very cool looking bow. I remember seeing you working on it at the classic.nice work.

Great work turning that stave into an unbelievable bow. 2016 was the 1st Classic I have attended and remember that stave well. I knew of your reputation for working challenging staves and was really hoping you could pull a bow out of this one. I cannot image the skill and patience it would take. You are the master. Again fantastic job on that one.
-
Chuck that was really cool even before the last picture. Congratulations that's really really cool.

Your determination to get the stave and make a unique bow like that is one heck of a story…right up to the last chapter! CONGRATULATIONS! Just for us “Character-Bow” want-a-bees, what are the specs? (including the crater dimensions)

Sweet bow Chuck, you bringing it to Tennessee next week ? maybe you can make that 2 deer with it this year. ;) :) The Honey hole and hole in the bow Chuck sounds like a winning combination to me. :) See ya in a few days. :)

Really impressive bow. I think I would have been nervous during the whole tillering process. The best part is you proved it works by getting a deer with it. Nice job!

Wow! O.O This is a fantastic work of art! I want all my friends to see this one.

:BB Hi Chuck, Can you please post the N2N length and the draw weight for your bow? Thanks, and have a good one!

Now that's a hole! Well done Arvin

Thanks a lot guys.
The bow is 64 1/2" NTN and 52 # at 28".
It has about 1" string follow, but shoots a
arrow real good and accurate.
