These are all worthy, but I have a definite idea of which one I will vote for, and for a specific reason.  Is it okay to express that here, or should I keep my mouth shut until after voting is over?

No real rules about that, but I'd recommend holding off promoting anybody, in the interest of fairness.

:BB I really had a tough time deciding between #3 (Black Locust) and #5 (Hollow-Limbed Yew), but I finally decided on #3.  Here in the states black locust is a lot more common than yew, and I think that more primitive self bow makers should try to use black locust, especially since it is an invasive species and from what I have read, makes a really durable, usable bow.  However, that is not why I chose #3.  #5 is so beautiful and the artistry that went into making it is something that I can only dream of.  What struck me about #3 is how straight the bow is when unstrung, absolutely no set.  The black locust bow looks like it may have trimmer lines than the other bows shown, adding to its cast ability, and I am a firm believer in "beauty is as beauty does".  No one can argue with 60 lbs at 28".  That should be more than enough power for any kind of hunting.  My choice is based on, of all these bows, which would I enjoy shooting the most, and I decided that #3 is it.  Congratulations Leon!
