Title: warbow arrows.
Post by: Hamish on March 07, 2018, 12:36:46 am
Does anyone know of any good fletchers in the USA that make authentic warbow  arrows? I posted this originally in the Arrow section but didn't receive any replies.

Hi Hamish

There are many you tube videos showing how to get them done yourself.

They are labour intensive, so to get someone else to make them for you becomes expensive.

It's not hard really and all part of the journey. I don't make my own heads but everything else.
Bows, strings and arrows, all part of it!

I'm asking on behalf of someone who lives in the USA. If it was me I'd make them myself. Seems like there is a business opportunity in the States for some enterprising craftsman.

Look up Jake Fenwick from the Canadian warbow society. He’s north of the border, but makes authentic stuff.

Hello,

I craft historical English/Welsh warbow arrows in ash and poplar. I also make other historical arrows in all other diameter and spines as well.
I'm based out of Ozark Missouri USA.
