Title: Mookite pendant

My grandson Colt asked for a new arrowhead pendant so I made him this on, mookite with a short shaft hafted on

Looks great bubby. I had no idea you were a knapper. I like the way you halved it and then attached it to rest of necklace.

Nice work Bubby.Really like seeing young kids be interested in this sort of thing.Their lucky to have a grandpa willing to show them this.You and BJ sure stay busy....lol.

Isn't that sad. My granddaughter had Native American week at her school last year and she asked me if I could bring some of my stone point arrows and selfbows. I told her I would but she had to get ok from school first. Wasn't allowed to bring selfbow even without arrows. Could let her bring a stone point but it couldn't be attached to a shaft. How sad. It seems to me these type of activities should be offered as clubs like football, baseball,basketball, soccer and volleyball. At least she got to take a few stone points and some tanned fur.

I don’t know, I have some friends who would disagree, exactly how do they sneak a stone knife to school with only their pencil cases?
