Haft it now or make it pretty and find a smaller handle.
This is the biggest blade I have salvaged from a dried
out old 80 lb hunk of green Mexican,

go for it, you only live once. you can always change it if you do not like it.

I always have a hard time making one smaller just to make it smaller to Zuma. I'd probably have to find a handle that fit it myself. Wish I had a nice piece of cholla to send you. I might have one left but not sure if it's the right size.

Antler would look neat, cholla or some exotic wood, maybe. How wide and thick is that blade? Where the heck did you find an 80 lb chunk of green Mexican? Nice work!

Well you’re now ready to fight a saber tooth!

Maybe a sweet tooth Tracker. To old and slow. I play with kittens now. O:)
Actually Dancer, it's Red Drum skin I salvaged. Wetted and stretched tight.
Wrapped around it like an Island girl. (old song) lol )F(
It's cool but to dark. makes things a little unbalanced to me. is
I left one small scale on it. The skin is a lot of work but has many possibilities. ???

Hey that turned out pretty sweet Zuma. I was having a hard time imagining that handle paired up with that blade but I like it. Be careful with those kitties. They can get pretty wild.
