Hello my friends... long time ago I was not here. :) Nice to see you again.
Plum bow. 61” ntn. 40# 32”. Under 1” of set. 378 grams of physical weight. Upper limb 1” longer. Finish: oil and bee wax. Not heat treated. :)

Man, you got all the bend out of that piece. Very nice.

Fantastic. Really like your bows. And you are a good photographer too. Glad to see your work again.

DRUID! WELCOME BACK!!! I have wondered where you have been these last few years. I'm glad to see you're doing alright and still making bows. I hope you stay and dont go again for a while.
Your bows and photography have always been wonderful. Sure missed seeing them.

Very nice! :) I wish my Plum would dry quicker.

I put plum up there with yew and Osage. Definitely one of my top string bow woods for sure.
Nice work with that.
-
That's a great little bow. You sure are maximizing every inch of it. Nice bend. Is it for someone with a 32" draw or is that just how you anchor?
-
What a beautiful bow. Great work. How wide is it at midlimb?
-
Right on!!
Really great to have you back. Your bows were some of the first I saw on here and a great inspiration. You haven't lost your touch either.

Yes indeed, I dig that! Great job.

Sweet one. (-S I love plum!

Yep, plumb is a first string bow wood for sure. great job on that one
-
That's quite the bend out of a short bow! Nice bow!
-

Nice bow druid. I'm going to have to find some plum. Heard lots of good things about it.

Excellent work. You can tell from the full draw that you are actually pulling it back all the way
-
That is a heck of a good looking bow. Very nice Full Draw profile.
-
fantastic bow
It almost looks like the string is a natural extension of the tips :OK
-
Great to see your work again Druid! That is an excellent bow. Love the character.
-
Thank you, my friends, to all off you. I am glad you like this plum. I feel myself a little bit rusty from non bowmaking but I hope to get in shape very soon with some new bows. :)
Ben, I overdraw this bow to be sure that it is safe for using in amateur hands. I am sure that some short term overdrawing will not affect the bow and I can be sure it is safe.
Aaron, bow is not at my place any longer to give you right measurements but I think it is about 3 cm in half of the limb.

Dude! Plum is amazing wood; flexible, beautiful, easy to carve and rasp, and ridiculously elastic.....
but it always seems to come small diameter, crooked, knotty, and with spiral grain. I'll STILL take every piece I can find.
Great looking bow, again, Druid!

Love this bow. Nice work
-
Awesome bow! Welcome back, Druid. Jawge

Impressive bend. After looking at the first picture I wasn't sure what to expect because of the humps and bends but, when I scrolled down it was a perfect bend. The color of the wood is beautiful as well. I gotta try and get my hands on some plum. I will have to check with some of the local farmers. Nice work!
