So the rice harvests are coming soon here which means it’s also beetle season. I’ll have to check the recipe again but I can recall sauteeing them in soy sauce, ginger and hot chilis. Do you guys have any suggestions or recipes?

Yea, let the turkeys eat them, and then eat the turkey's. :)

Hey now, dont judge it till you try it ;D without the sauce, it tastes like popcorn that’s soaked up a bit too much butter, atleast, with the beetle eggs

That reminds me a bit too much of survival training in SPecial Forces! >:D. Cross cultural training says "Don't knock it 'til you've tried it", but I'll plus 2 on Archeryrob! Turkey sounds better! Don't like popcorn anyway ;DLol!

Hmm.. now the trick is finding the turkeys ;D

It's even trickier to shoot beetles with primitive bow
Guess PrimitiveTim knows how to ;D

Hide in the woods and make noises like a beetle? Or "Here, turkey, here turkey". They should come galloping in! :G :G :G. Actually, not!! >:D. I think this thread went south! Quickly! Lol!

Whatchu do here see is that you take a beetle, and get it in tje stomach of a bass. Prepare the bass per normal, gut it and throw the beetle away.

Huh, now I know what to do in April >:D
