Anybody interested in bear/deer camp the first week of October? I'm making plans for the fall, not sure what plans, but let's figure it out. I'm also pondering going out of state to hunt whatever will stand still long enough for me to throw an arrow at it.
As of right now there are 203 leftover bear licenses for one area here in Michigan that can be purchased over the counter. I drew a tag for another area, but if anyone is interested I may buy a leftover tag instead.
This specific bear season runs from last week of September through October 26th. Deer archery season begins October 1st, so we could hunt both.

Dave if you go out of state you know one place you can always come hunt.

Rob, I will get there at some point for sure! I do appreciate the offer also. I'm thinking spring turkey next year.
JW, It would be a awesome if you could make it over this way! I'll send you some info.

So I have bad news. It turns out the leftover licenses are only available to residents of Michigan. I guess we would have to change this to deer camp for any non residents. If anyone is interested let me know, I can send all the needed info.
