Title: Four Tigers
Post by: Danzn Bar on July 15, 2018, 11:37:01 am
Finally got a chance to finish up this matched set.

Cane shafts dyed with walnut stain and orange paint.
5" helical turkey feathers dyed with orange koolaid. Canada goose cock feather.
Black thread wrapped with an orange seed bead nock indicator.
Maribu feather primitive aluma nock.
Duplex nail target points and an obsiden hunting point.

Thanks for looking, till next time,
DBar

Wow. Thanks Bill. I'm sure going to try get there even if it's just for part of a day and a night. I
Love em buddy and I'm usually not a big fan of dyed fletching. Those are sweeeet. How'd you know my school colors.lol. Or could be the Detroit Tigers but their to good for them.
You sure gave me more motivation to get to Elm Hall than I already had and I was already very motivated.
Bjrogg Thanks

Very nice Bill.  What type of cane?
Those happen to be Tonkin Cane I got from Eddie (Mullet) a while back at a TN Classic.  They were a little stiff for me and I knew I would find someone that could use them.
DC the color changes pretty quick the orange is only about 10" or so (cresting).
Thanks for all the nice words guys,
DBar

I'll have to remember that if/when I decide I would like some more decorative arrow......I don't think I could bring myself to shoot a broadhead like that at anything but a pillow.

Bill, just letting you know buddy. I'm at Elm Hall now. My wife just called me and said my arrows arrived. I think she's almost as excited as I am. Sure wish both you and those 4 Tigers were here right now. Miss ya buddy.
Thanks again. I'm actually kinda excited to go home now, but I'm gonna stay here awhile anyway.
Take care

I'm sure if I was you I'd stay there and enjoy all the fine things there at Elm Hall... Make sure you take a good shot over the water in the river ….that one was always a fun shot.  Say Hi to everyone for Kim and I.  Till next time my friend.

DBar,
I was running (actually walking). around with the wide brim hat, 2 feathers on the right side, trying to stay hydrated,  I am left handed, even converted a bow I got from Steve Gardner to shoot LH!  Got My hickory bow tillered there and shot it in the flight shoot, and on the range.

I think I make some pretty nice Primitive Arrows Mike. But Bill is way up there. Wow they are so perfect. Just amazing attention to every detail.
