Had some Quail, Phesant and Turkey feathers so I just had to back a bow with them. Here are the bows specs.
65" ntn
50# @ 28"
2" reflex
1 1/2" wide @ fades
1/4" wide @ tips
4" handle
1 1/2" fades
About 250 shots at this point.
Starting at the tips are quail feathers followed by Phesant feathers and ending up with Turkey at the fades.
My favorite is still the turkey, they are so aredesent in the sunlight.
Thanks for looking,

Nothing not to like about it that's one beautiful bow.

The tiller and the feathers are beautiful. What did you seal the feathers with?

Incredibly beautiful work on that one!

...and it has a beautiful bend. :OK Excellent Bill. 8)

Pictures don't do this bow justice. It's a work of art. Bills feather work is amazing. It sure drew some attention at the shoot today.
-
The profiles and tiller are dead on, but that backing is sure something else. Nice work
-
Wow!
-
Wow Bill that's a work of beauty in every aspect.
the backing is something special and your profiles are spot on, also like your tips - really nice!
-
THis is a a family site, so I’ll just say... that’s awesome!
-
the backing is so awesome it almost distract from the beauty of the bow :OK :OK :OK
-
Absolutely perfect all around, especially that tiller. Great work big guy.
-
Thanks Guys.....Especially the comments on the bend.
I took some progressive pictures on the full draw. Notice the reflex at the fades during brace, and how it disappears about half way through the full draw.
Bayou Ben....the finish over the feathers is a two part epoxy called "Flex Coat" used in fishing rod construction.
Thanks again,
DBar
