I thought I would post this just in case zuma needs a back up for his next hunt.all walnut and osage and about a 50# pull.made it a few years ago on a bet with a friend that I could make one all wood shoot and stay together.it shoots hard and strait at 10 yards.

That is too cool. I shot an all wood cross gun a few years back, no sights. It was soooo cool and very efficient. Nice work.

Thanks you two it just hangs on the wall ,but i get it down and shoot it at the target now and then.
the bad part is i have to lock it down in the vice to get it cocked.been shot around a 100 times and i cant believe it hasnt taken any more set.

Yes their not the best pics.
uwe look at the 4 picture you can see a pin in front of the grip, the lever on the bottom of the stock pushes the pin up and releasea the string.

That is so kool, really like it. I am glad to see this thread did not get shut down (other site). I was working on the Kansas/Oklahoma border last year. Stopped at a store to get a soda. This guy had a lot of stuff in his store & yard. I picked up an OLD crossbow with a wood stock and metal limbs. Tore it apart to see the trigger mechanism so I can carve an all wood crossbow. It's on my list of projects. John

Thanks sroner it was just a bet thing and it is with exception of string and epoxy all wood.its a dust collector.
