Title: Couple Visitors
Post by: Marc St Louis on December 29, 2018, 04:22:31 pm
We had these 2 Grouse entertain us at the breakfast table this morning.  They both had landed in the shrubs but one of them fluttered down to the snow and was running around so couldn't get a pic of her.  This one stayed put for a few minutes till a Squirrel spooked her, caught a Chickadee in flight coming in for some Sunflower seeds as well

Yes between the feeders.  We have Ruffed Grouse in our area, used to be Spruce Grouse here as well but most of their habitat was cut down and we only see them farther North now

I see you at least had a white christmas there.I see the chicadee but not the grouse.I feed that black sunflower seed too.It seems to draw in all kinds of different visitors.A good high fat content in that stuff for those cold nights.

It's about two feet behind and to the right of the chickadee :)
