Title: Craft your own shooting glove
Post by: jimmi the sammi on December 29, 2018, 06:53:04 pm
Let's see if this works.  My latest gloves have 5/8" solid brass buckles with matching nylon strapping.  The main leather part is made with the finished side down touching my hand so sweat is less likely to soak into it.  All leather parts are salvaged from repurposed women's purses and wallets.  The dark leather glove on the right side has been used weekly for almost 2 years.  The pattern is from an old model glove that I have used for many years.  I shoot with 2 fingers but the pattern can be used and flipped over for a 3rd finger glove.  I use a plain old sewing machine with denim/leather needles that can be purchased at any quality fabric shop.

Well I can't open the pictures that I took so if you want them send me a message and I'll email them to you.
