I did a trade with Steve (ohma2) and received this hand carved Oregon Junco bird, and this unique knife. The bird is hand carved from basswood and the detailed work is spectacular. The attention to detail in carving and painting is spot on I'm amazed that someone can do this by hand.
The knife is made from an industrial bandsaw blade and features this unique oak handle and sheath. The fit and finish is top notch and I love how the the handle and sheath fit seamlessly together. This knife will have a place in my hunting bag from here on out.
Thanks Steve! Hopefully my part of the trade can live up to yours.

Nice carving job, I have had a hankering to do a raptor carving in wood again. It's on the list. John
