Anybody going to the Silver Glen Knap-In? I know Bonepile is, talked to him yesterday.

Is this one also known as Ocala, or is that a different knap in?

I should head up there.  Probably will, Eddie...missed it last year.

1442 - I figure it would be the same, it's the big one.  Heck of a beautiful and interesting place, too.

Is that the same as the Silver River Knap-in...Feb 16, 2019  ?

The info says expert flint knappers....guess I can't go    ;D

It is in Ocala, Florida. Takes place at the Silver Springs State Park and is February 15, 16, and 17. $5 admission. it has a great, little museum with artifacts found in the spring and surrounding area and plenty of rock for sale and good food.

I plan on getting there Friday afternoon. Come on down Bob and thaw out ! Scott Mitchel has built this one up to a great one. Last year they were working on a dug -out canoe. Lots to see great museum and grounds.

No, Pat he just got through moving to Georgia. He was going to buy a house from Preacher, Big Jim's friend.

I didn't know they moved. I remember Preacher from the classic last year.
