Title: TRADE COMPLETED- Thanks all who responded and viewed

Aloha,

I'd really like to try my hand at a small osage selfbow. I don't have a lot of cash on hand to buy a stave and osage doesn't grow anywhere I can drive to (two of the sacrifices you make to live in paradise ;)). I do, however, have lots of access to guava and have a stave I cut on Feb 5 2019. No prop twist, little bit of snaky grain, slight reflex, only a couple knots that will probably disappear during tillering. 66" total length.

Anyone want to trade for a piece of osage that would make a 56" bendy handle bow?

How comfortable are you with chasing a ring? I have a stave 60” long that might work for you but it’s rings are about 1/16”  with some about 1/8”
