Just fishing....
I have (what I think is red) mulberry staves.
About 70-74" long avg.
Few pin knot clusters.
Cut on March 1st.
De-barked and sealed with latex paint.
I think they are very straight.
The tree was about 10-12" diameter.
I have a dozen + so thought I would see if anyone wanted.
I don't know if I need anything in particular but interested to see.
I can send pics and let you pick from the bunch and give specific measurements if needed.
I am in florida panhandle.

I have done English longbows, stiff handled American flat bows, and bendy handle Native American style bows from mulberry.
I have cussed a blue streak chasing growthrings around pin knot clusters until I needed an inhaler to rescue me from a death by asthma. But I learned to follow a growthring like it was a religion and to respect the grain of the wood with mulberry.
Anyone turning this opportunity down is a fool.

Got a nice mulberry tree in my neighbor's yard but he might get a bit upset if I cut it! Pm me what you might need for a trade! Hickory, I got! Yew and Osage, I got - skill is another matter!

I have some ERC staves that are very large 7ft plus and straight with few knots. I have a black walnut flatbow that is tillered but otherwise kind of rough that someone could pretty up but otherwise shoot on arrival. It's about 50-60 pounds at 28-30 ish f I remember correctly. I would be interested in a nice 74" stave of this stuff. I don't know if any of that tickles your fancy but thanks for the offer.
