Title: How to get started???

I'm wanting to get into napping. Not sure how or where to get rock. As some may already know I live in sw pa. What stone around me is good to use? What are the basic tools I should have to start? How do I learn?

Jake, not sure how far ya want to drive but we are having a knappin May 4th at Chapmans Dam state park near Warren, Pa. Rented pavilion for the day and rock and tool dealer and many knappers and primitive skills people will be there, Knappins are great places to get started, lots of good knapper to help get ya started. Start at 10 until dark, Hope to see ya there. Bob :KN

PM  me your addy and I can send a ton of flakes, glass, thunder chert to get you started.
