Title: Snakey Osage Bow with Copperhead Skins 50#@29"
Post by: Weylin on June 25, 2019, 11:59:48 am: I started this bow at the Tennessee Classic from a stave I picked up there. This was the belly split off the larger stave. It was clean and had straight alignment with some reasonable curves. I really had fun with this one. I tried to accentuate the snakes with the tips and the skins. I gave it some mild reflex to add some snap. It's a real smooth shooter. The bow is 66" long and pulls 50#@29" The handle wrap is tanned beaver tail with kangaroo lace. The finish is tru oil. The string is fastflight with muskrat fur silencers.

Thank you! I was playing around with some new handle and fade ideas. I was happy with how they turned out.
