Post by: bassman on September 14, 2019, 01:19:28 pm
I need sinew. Enough to back an iffy Osage bow that is 1and a half wide at the fades to 1/2 at the tips. I have Bear stainless steel screw in broad heads, blue, 135 grs., and some smaller flint heads, and knapping tools. Also have a chunk of Obsidian.

Sinew must be like hen's teeth. No replies. I scratched enough up to back the bow yesterday.Oh well I guess I will have to gather some up this hunting season.LOL

I have some. Already shredded and ready to use. What do you have to trade? I can't use most of what you have listed, but if you have any other options, pm me.

Jeff,I have  a dozen wood shafts.  Six are Birch ,spined 60 lbs. and 32 inches long, and six are Ash spined for around 55 lbs.and are 32 inches long., and five more that are not marked. I would take what ever sinew you think is a fair trade if you are interested. I won't use them as I shoot 35 to 45 lb bows.

I will likely get a ton of whitetail back sinew this year. I will start making some of it available to trade in November. Send me a pm around then if you still need some.

How do you PM on this site? On the other site it says private messages.
