Here's a matching set of bow and arrows that I just finished up. I started with a nice clean stave for the bow and it was smooth sailing from there. It's nice when it works out that way. I need to remember these projects when everything seems to be fighting against me. I wanted to do a little stain work but not have it be too cluttered or busy. The bow is 62" ntn and pulls 53#@28". The stain was done with leather dye, and the handle wrap is deer leather with buffalo horn for the tips. The arrows are Dougas fir Surewood Shafts with self nocks and fletched with wild turkey feathers and deer sinew.

Arrows are superb. Wouldn't want to practice long shots in rocky terrain with those shafts.

Weylin,
Is that asymmetrical, top limb a little longer, or is the camera fooling me? Nice balance you have there...

Don
Yes, the top limb is one inch longer than the bottom and the bow has about 1/4" positive tiller.
