Title: Repair day
Post by: Hawkdancer on September 21, 2019, 12:40:18 am
Today was repair the knee day!  It took longer to get prepped than it did for the surgery!  So far so good,  keep knee propped up on pillows, take Lala land pills on schedule.  Should be able to move about more Monday or Tuesday.  All went well, but there is a bit of arthritis, not enough to require a replacement, luckily!   Don't get to see the cuts 'til Wednesday, though!  No scar pics, but I could post an ice pack pic (lol)

Take care, Jerry and let that thing heal. You know at our age we don't heal as fast.   (f)

A real good excuse to lay on couch and watch football games and do some research!  Doc did say something about not trying to rush the healing process!  No running, jumping (especially out of airplanes (lol) >:D), no heavy lifting, or stop and go sports for a while.  Should be somewhat ready for deer season next month, though!  May figure out some projects I can do whilst reclining,  but gathering the materials means moving around more.

Jerry - glad to hear the surgery went well; pay attention to the PT folks, it may be hard for you to do that but it will pay off.
