Title: copper bopper
Post by: Deerhunter21 on October 15, 2019, 09:19:21 am
My copper bopper cap keeps coming off if i hit things too hard. The wood is heat treated hickory so the wood is really hard and i like it. Im going to get a new cap today but will epoxy keep it on since it has already come off once? should I put a screw in it?

Might not have gotten JB mixed well enough.  But the screw is also a good idea.

Along with JB Weld I started nailing it through the tip with a copper gutter nail.
