98lb doe shot with Old Al my Osage static. Double lung but still covered a lot of ground with very little blood until the end when it started from the mouth and nose. Not sure why or how she went that far but if someone tells you they can't with double lung they are incorrect. We looked very close and no doubt a double lung. Any way I fell very blessed to have found her, just knowing my farm really helps and a good dog sure speeds things up. :) Sister will do anything for a chunk of raw liver. :) ;)

Nice shot. New something was not right with the BH tip bent and fat on the BH!
Time for that stir fry!

Ya it punched through the off side but didn't break the hide, that's why so little blood I suppose.

Congratulations Pappy. I'm hoping to get some hunting in soon. We finished up our sugarbeets Saturday. I processed a doe my brother gave me yesterday. I'm hoping none of the neighbors ask us to help harvest their beets but I'm thinking they will. It's supposed to freeze up middle of the week.
Still got my sons corn and ours to go yet to. Not quite as stressful as the beets though.
Glad to see your still thinning the herd with your selfbow. You are a true inspiration to many.

Probably 200 yards or more Brad, double lung but in the back 1/3 so I guess that was the difference. :-\

I miss getting chances at deer all season! Drawing tags out here just ain't the same....but a couple elk will fill a freezer pretty quick.
