Hey, Gang,
I wanted to post some pics of this excellent bow I received in the Trade from Eric (High-Desert). It's a character vine maple bow with two kinks in it, symmetrical about the handle, making it a bit like a 5-curve in the middle. It's 61" ntn, 1-1/2" wide at the fades, and draws 60# @ 26". It shoots straight and hard, and I like it a lot!

is it backed? or are the wrappings just for color separation which looks very cool too! Really nice stain!

It's not backed, just stained and wrapped for separation. Makes for a great look!

I'm really glad you like it Stickhead. It was definitely challenging to tiller and I think it's tillered correctly, I continuously questioned the tiller. But in the end the draw felt even and smooth so I guess that's a good sign. Vine Maple is certainly the most challenging wood I've worked as far as character and wood structure.
