I like it.  Looks like a kneeling archer shooting from a canoe.

Me too Pat. Maybe I could put a internet bid on it. I really need to get there. If I had known how the weather was going to be I could have gone last year.

Well, that explains the ask for the thin birchbark.

Need me to go out and dig some super thin spruce roots to sew it together?

Can't wait to see it Pat, always love your stuff and many thanks. The one you made for me is a very Cherished part of my house.  :) Margaret Ann really loves it and has to name all the stuff around it including Sally and Sister. ;)

This one will be a little different but I've thought about it for a while. I guess each one has been a little different.   ::)
Pappy, I'm honored that Margaret Ann loves it.  8)

Thanks Steve. I always enjoy the process.
Someone last year at the Classic asked me what it would take for me to make him one. I told him he couldn't afford it. Over a 6 month period I could have a hundred hours or more in one of these projects. It is definitely a labor of love but worth it because it is for a very good cause.

Russell, it is paper mache(news paper, tissue paper, white glue) with wire or foam board below. My wife is an artist and has been successful with paper mache for many years. That's where I get my inspiration and technical support. The ideas and subject matter are my own.
This will be my 4th or 5th project that I donate to the raffle table at the Tenn. Classic each year. You can look them up in past posts. I also did one last year I gave to Pappy of him at his work bench. I don't remember if I posted a pic of that though.
