Congratulations Lee. Pretty impressive. First posted bow. First BOM and first BOY. All in about a month. All with the same bow. Way to start off 2020.

Shootable art will always win. The blue collar bow guys are about done here. If look at vote totals, your looking at tiny number versus what it use to be 10 yrs ago. Prolly need a Hunt Bow of the month or Art Bow of the Month.
I knew that bow was the winner the second I saw it in late Dec. No brainer. Love that thing hope we see it at TO this spring. Love to see it shoot.
Then, to the point what I say above. you look at Leonwoods Flatbow. . . . . It don't get a vote?????? C'mon

There's plenty of room for discussion about how to improve the bow of the month contest, but it doesn't feel quite right having it in a thread congratulating the winner. That doesn't feel very respectful to Ye Li and the amazing bow he made.

Maybe professional bow builders “those who sell bows for a job should not be entering BOM”. Just thought, not only mine BTW.
Either that of charge for Advertising Again, not the only guy with that thought.
Was an easy win. Awesome bow. Loved that he finished it and oisted posted right at finish line. After all its about the same 70 guys voting on bows now. Just the way it is with the change. We just see alot less bows.
Sorry if I jerked half hitch in your sensibilities.

Seeing how fast Li has been improving as a bowyer is amazing. he has a natural talent and I'd predict his name will be accompanied by mental images of immaculately made bows with detailed workmanship and art.
