How do horn bows tolerate cold weather? I understand warming up the limbs but if your in pretty cold weather will that affect them?

The draw weight will go up a little but other than that no problem.

Mongols atacked Europe and Russia in the winter months so obviously their horn bows did just fine  :BB

Hey, Jake, I asked this question about self-bows a while back.  The consensus is that it can raise your draw weight a bit, but poses no risk to the bow.

The Tukudeka/sheepeaters around here hunted all winter at high altitude with horn bows, and they seemed to do pretty well.
