Title: Flints
Post by: mullet on March 29, 2020, 10:13:52 am
I didn't want to hijack Eric's thread so I started this one for JW. John, here are some of the flints I've been knapping and a small hammer to carry in my Possibles bag

Steve, when I started this I ended up digging through the flakes at my feet for old, broken points. They are already half made.

Steve, blade cores, blades are then made into multiple gun flints or Indian gun flints like Eddies, either one work extremely well, better than the fancy machine cut ones in my opinion, Bob

Yea, those flat top ones came from blade cores.
