Title: more Hawks
Post by: KHalverson on May 29, 2020, 11:01:55 am
seems that tomahawks have been 75% of my commissions since the start of this pandemic.
most are forged from 4140 except those made from rail road spikes as requested.
here are some random pics of the last 3 months work.

I really like your style of hawks.  Where do you get the steel for them?

about 50% comes from the scrap bin @ work.
the other 50% I purchase online.
p.m me if you'd like the suppliers name.
great prices and service.

I tried twice this morning to make a decorative "war hammer" from a R R spike. Any tricks on drifting the haft hole? I'm  thinking about drilling a pilot hole through. I had both attempts herniate to the side. Dang it!
