Same as above  :o

But if it’s not to much to ask would you mind saying what wood was used for what part of the bow? I’m far from building a horn bow but I am curious.

Very beautiful work.  The bow is amazing enough, but the finish painting always amazes me when it is this good.

True art! The colors, the curves and the bows weight (only544 gram for such a heavy bow) An inspiration for sure, also love the white leather touches, really wraps it together nicely!

Thanks for all good words
Bow is make with walnut grip glue in v spliced with maple sals, and kasan with sijah make with bamboo, butt two strips glue to maple in v splice ,and ash is only extra strip on belly cover v spliced at handle,
About bow weight is not that light 544 grams is a lot for that draw weight bow, i make  crimean tatar bows with 130 -140 lbs draw weight with the bow weight like 550 grams, Butt thys bow is very long like for turkish style bows
Lott of weight is in grip ,walnut what i make it have weight like 850 kg /m3

Oh i dont shoot with thys bow on chrono, i cant draw further from 26 inch it,butt schoot nice with that short draw, bow is very stable and i dont feel any handshock

Work of art. Have you shot it for distance or speed?

Bassman, you've asked that about 6 horn bows in a row; I think you're trying to start a horn bow shoot out.

My bet is on the advanced selfbow, or maybe the Turkish bow.

No I am not. I am just in awe of these bows. I have read about Turkish bows centuries ago shooting distances I can't even imagine, and would these bows be close to theirs. That is all, and no more than that. Not stirring any pot. Sorry if  any of you took it that way.

Fair enough.  It would be a really interesting competition though.
