Body is apple wood spur is unknown loops are scrap as well

Looks like it might have some flex during the cast (AT).  Nice work!

nice job! i really like it! first look and it thought it was bone lol

one thing is i believe that a basket maker is dug into the thrower but no doubt that that will throw darts!!  (AT) (AT)

Yeah I’ve done it with other atlatls and always screwed up so I didn’t want to ruin this one

Yep still using plant stakes They fly good with duct tape fletchings and diy points

you should post some pics!

I throw a lot of unfletched darts. It helps me tune them and practice my release.  I finally added some fletching to the darts I take to the meet.

Yeah the first time I threw this atlatl it snapped my dart in half and half flew over into the neighbors yard and it was interesting to explain why there was a spear stuck in the dirt in their backyard
