Title: I got an ealry one Oct 2nd
Post by: DV IN MN on October 27, 2020, 03:33:47 pm
Well being mostly a very patient meat hunter. I will normally wait one or two days. Lucky for me I wasn't ready when the doe came through and this one showed up 30 minutes later.

Well Pat it is the same selfbow I have used for a number of years now. Osage flat bow At my draw 29" it is in the 65 lb range, 64" long.
It was made from an osage that grew in the bottom where I shot this buck probably less than 100 yards away. Full Circle I guess.
don't really have very good pictures this year with the equipment.

Well done, he's a beauty!  And taking him with a bow made from a stave harvested in the same bottom?  That's a beautiful combination.
