finally sanded and polished and ready for storage. not the very fastest but good target bows. heavyier one 2 ,5" reflex, light one zero after shooting. interesting expirience and good teachers. to be continued.

nice lamination work. Did you perry before glue up? Is one a quad lam? or perhaps I see a powerlam over the handle. seems like you have your gluing techniques work out well. hope you can tell more about your methods

willie: no perry before glueup. glued all 3 lams and powerlam at once into a wooden caul. altough I usually use inner tubes I went with clamps this time. glued with thickened casting resin (because it works fine and is cheaper than most other specialized 2ks).
tradcraftsman: arrrowpass is made from a stuff called "bluefix" - curious how long it might last. every bow only a little step on a stair :) I usually shoot them a few hundred arrows before storing them. from time to time give one away as a gift...

Very nice bows! ...except those unnecessary lumps on the handles... why not sand them down and cure the bows to perfect. Arrows will leave the bows nicely from your knuckles only.

lethis: I know what you mean and I consider to follow your advice ;) if, but only if you can tell me how i can make sure to place the arrows always exactly in the same place. And I mean exactly exactly ;) usually I have a leather grip on my bows that gives me something like a little arrow rest. thank you.

If I see correctly the most bending is at the inners/mids, are they shocky?

what is shocky? ;D i'd say the lighter one not at all - but there's also more bend towards the outers...
the heavier one maybe a little. but that's very subjective. On that one I could have spread the bend more towards the outers and also saved weight, but might have lost reflex at the same time. that's the reason why I'm still not sure about the tiller on this one and might scrape a little more. bowyery often is kinda making a round square. ;D

I inset a pinhead under the pad of my index finger. I also balance the mass of the bow so the bow carries naturally at the same place. this allows me to raise my bowhand and keep consistent hand placement without taking my eye off the target.

I thought the inners were maybe bending a little too much also?
You will actually keep more overall reflex if you were to get the outer limbs bending a little more. The wood is thinner there and can safely accept more bend. Any set at all in the inner limbs is never good.
