Title: Like riding a bike, but harder

Hahaha I almost got it! Haven’t knapped in a little bit. Chased a hinge and a twist until I was a bit narrow and then I snapped my tip off. But at least it’s not gravel. My goal for the year is to knap a lot more!

Nice recovery!  Just flake away everything that doesn't look like an arrowhead :KN? )P(

Good to see your making flakes again tracker.

Funny how much bigger they look in your head when you start on them.

All of mine I think will end up much bigger and then I watch as they get narrower and narrower. I need to just pick my hinges off rather than shooting over shots through em from the other side. I’ve been playing mind games but I still think flint knapping is the best puzzle!

I very much agree with the mind games and puzzle. If my brain isn’t ready for it there’s no since even trying.

Haha it seems quite a few members from a few years ago took a break. Maybe 2021 can be the year of the caveman!

Year of the Caveman, huh?  I like it, to heck with the Year of the Ox for the Chinese New Year, coming up.   ;D
