Title: Drawknife from a rasp

I made this drawknife from a farriers rasp, drew the reins out then bent them to the angle I wanted. This works great, perfect size and made short work of some Osage today. Just need to finish the fandles

Thanks Robbie, on this I did a warm water quench and then draw tempered it

That is pretty sweet. I love making my tools, gives a nice sense of satisfaction every time you put it to work.

Looks good!  My farrier's rasp I'd still in too good condition to consider repurposing (f) >:D!

That’s pretty cool bubby. Hope you post it when you got it all finished up. I have to show my cousin. He and his son have made a few.
