Lately I have been making this style of bow. No staves left. Bamboo floor boards for the limbs. Walnut grip with maple siyahs. 42 lbs at 25.5 inch draw. 4.75 inch brace. 8 strand B55 string. 50 inch over all length Shoots a 415 gr arrow at 151 fps average with a static release. This bow can be e made in a day. They are fun to build ,and shoot when you have nothing else to build a bow from, and perform good enough to dispatch a white tail at a reasonable distance.. If I still hunted I would shoot a 450 gr arrow out of it with an 8 strand D97 fast flight string.
