Title: Elk hunt help, Colorado
Post by: Gary Gregg on January 29, 2021, 07:07:11 pm
Not sure where to post this. But, looking for information regarding reviewing CO archery elk outfitters. Planning primitive hunt; found an outfitter that looks good and sounds good on the phone. But is there a place where outfitters are rated or reviewed?

Try the Colorado Parks & Wildlife website and the Better Business Bureau in their county.  Outfitters in Colorado have to be licensed.  Be ready to hunt hard, and remember elk country is anywhere from 6,000 to 11,00 feet above sea level.  Make sure you are in excellent physical condition, then get into better shape!  It is no country for old men!
