Nothing special, just natural hickory with cherry accents. 10 coats of wipe on Waterlox.

Looks great!  Did you steam bend the recurves or oil and heat?   Was wood from handle heartwood of hickory?

I did steam bend the recurves for about 30 minutes. I purchased the hickory board from Lumberman Co. on line. It was listed as a bow making wood. It did contain some heart wood.
