Title: Hunting point
Post by: Allyn T on May 09, 2022, 02:48:26 pm
New point, raw harvester chert. This one I had touble thinning so it's very lenticular in cross section, should be sturdy as heck though. I'm still getting little fingernail step fractures and I havent figured out how to get my pressure flakes to travel the best yet. All in all I've been pleased with my latest points though.

Put it on a shaft and fling it at something.

I don't think this one is quite sharp enough fellas lol. It'll definitely punch a hole but the edge angles are kind of high.

Well, I don't know anything about knapping, but it looks to me like it would perforate a critter.  Nice work, Allyn!

It’s a fun one to play with. Decent enough to shoot at target and not to good to. I like playing with those sometimes
