Doug (Archerybowman) makes incredible bows and doesn't charge enough for them.  It will be interesting to see the crossbow made form that bow.

Just guessing but I would say it ought to be able to shoot very very heavy arrows.

Those nocks cut into the boo like that are not the best idea. It would be a shame for it to get ruined through not doing the nocks properly. Those Chinese style crossbows with the 3 piece trigger are sweet. I've made a few, long powerstroke and a light pull on the trigger.first 3 shots with mine I bust 2 nock ends of my bolts... very easy to be accurate with and a superior design.

There was an eastern European fella on youtube a few years back that was pulling 200# with relative ease. Thumbring as well.

  Several years ago I made some 300# white oak self bows. I only tillered them out to 24".  When they were filming the show they were drawing them out to 32" and they took a massive set and lost most of their power. They were 7 ft long. I would really like to see that bow shoot an arrow even if it comes from a crossbow.
