Newnan style point made from heat treated agatized coral.

Is that material you collected and heat treated?

No I actually bought this from Ryan gill's website back in December. It is nice material but what I didn't realize at the time is it is super expensive. A friend of mine just told me he would pay 2-3 dollars a pound for high grade material and this was about 6 dollars a pound before shipping cost.

Great point! You can get that coral for free in the Alafia River snorkeling between Alderman Ford canoe launch and Lithia Springs. If you put in at
 the Canoe Outpost near Lithia and go up river You will find some under the bridge and up around the bend.
