I recently finished a hickory takedown selfbow for a young man who is quite a bow hunter. The bow is 66” NTN and is 44# @ 24”. I stained the back with Fiebings leather dye and stitched on a black leather handle wrap. Finished with six coats of Tru-Oil and a spar urethane spray to dull the shine. Good luck with your new bow Nick. Thanks for looking.

My favorite design by far. Epitome of combined simplicity and efficiency, and least trouble to make.
Nicely done!
