Title: Yew by Bob Brooks (posted by OldBow)
Post by: OldBow on May 22, 2008, 01:39:09 pm
69” yew billet bow. Propeller limbs with very fine grain growth ring
lines. Two major knots- one filled w/glue and fine saw dust, as I was
pulverized. Both patched w/rawhide and one bonded w/rod thread. Has
ridget handle to accommodate the longer length. Cow horn tip- over lays.
54#@27”. Cast 600 grain arrows well. A somewhat character bow w/limb
irregularities. 300 plus shots, with minimal string follow. First time,
BOM submission.

Color and motif on rawhide- self inspired. Thank you B.B. (Bob Brooks)
