ok, i finished this a little over a week ago and just haven't had time to post pictures but here it is now.
its 62" and 72# @ 26 inches. really casts an arrow hard, hoping to hunt elk with it next year.
the tips are IPE and buffalo horn overlays and the grip is deer hide i dyed with my homemade black walnut stain. i used steam to make the recurves. im not convinced they are really perfect but i am happy with them and its shoots well so I'll deal with them. thanks for looking

This is a selfbow, yes?

That's a sweet bow. I love the curves and the handle wrap. At 72#, it should make short work of any elk.

Cool bow! I've just started experimenting with my first recurve. I hope I can turn one out as nice one day! I'm dying to try some osage too. Good luck with the elk.

That's a mighty fine looking weapon, Ryan. Love that profile, it's got curves like Halle Berry :) The elk should just lay down and surrender when they see you coming with that bow-excellent work.

Very nice bow Ryan, Love the profile and the curves are perfect. Looks like it would blister an arrow threw any elk. Congratulations. Keenan
