is October's Laminate Bow of the Month

This bow is a real bar raiser and here is how Leroy made it:
Here are a couple of pics of a Tri-Lam I made. Core is Jatoba and the belly is Argentine Osage. The riser and power strip are Pau Fero. The bow is 62" and draws 55#@28" Off the form the tips came up 2" above the handle. When I was done tillering, they still came up an 1 1/2" It is a real shooter.

My Dad is a partner in the making of these bows. He is 71 years young and we build the  bows together. He does most of the glue ups and I do the tillering and shaping of the risers. Its  a way for us to spend more time together enjoying what we like to do.His name is Leroy Buckley  Sr.

Sorry to all - I missed the whole thing this past month. Been real busy with carport/shop remodling, trying my hand at some sapling to bow conversion - haven't made it yet - LOL, and hunting - as well as a few family (and political) things. End of Oct. and beginning of Nov. just escaped me completely untill this AM

As I said, I really am sorry I missed the voting but I will be posting Full Draws of the fine winners on my Traditional Bows Drawn pages of my web site (as usual) - as soon as I get a little free minute or two. Buck that was a sweet offering this month.  I saw it, fell in love and voted immediately....then got home and started planning for a similar construction.
