Breaking into Obsidian

Decided  to  try  my  hand  at setting  up  some  bamboo  arrows  and stone tips, after looking  around  my hunting  digs for  something  suitable I  ran  into  an old business  friend  who  just  happened  to  have   some  obsidian he  kindly  gave  me,  here's  the  first chip  using a brass  hammer (that  must  be  anathema  to truly  primitive  artisans  I'm  sure)  and  a tool  I  manufactured  with  a  handle  and heavy  piece  of  copper  wire

Ishi did not become the arrow, I suspect. The arrow became Ishi.
