Rum bottle Knapping
« on: October 23, 2009, 08:06:45 pm »
Here's one I got out of a Bicardi Rum bottle bottom. I took a 20d nail a gave it a couple shakes an had the  bottom off in one pc. Did a little percussion and then pressure flaked. Nothing fancy but good practice. Thanks for looking. Later Bob

I guarantee that would do the job on a whitetail.
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Very nice and yes its prctice but even the glass makes some lethal points..I find sometimes glass is harder to flake than stone..U have some good pressure flaking on that point and picture look very nice...goodjob!!!

Nice point, Bob, some really nice flaking. I hope you poured some in the glass first. ;)
