Anyone know if two feathers is better than three for fletching? I've heard both are better than the othe but thos are modern archers talking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If set up correctly both work equally as well. IMO  Choose your weapon!  ;)

As Pat said, either way works really well if done right. I use both.

The Aug/Sept issue of PA has a fletching article. More primitive than the modern day. Go figure ;D I tried a couple yesterday an I liked the 2 better.

In my experience there is no difference if done reasonably carefully. Both work well. I've seen arrows with two three inch parabolic fletchings fly really well though I think I would tend to aim for about the same fletch area meaning that with twin fletch I may use larger fletchings to get similar total area.

I personally think 3 is more accurate, but for making a bunch of arrows I like 2 because it is a lot easier and faster

I prefer two fletches...its easier and I notice nothing different in flight from three and two.
