Backing lam's

  I need a little advice.I just got some 1/8" thick lam's of Hard Maple.I've never used it before.Is it good for backing Osage or is it a better Belly lam?I'm just trieing some different things than Boo.

 If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

                    Rock maple can be a great backing, although with osage I would prefer hickory. I would reserve the maple personally for lighter SG woods...just my opinion.....

I agree with Brian! :o  ;) I've never used maple backing but from what I have heard, use it on lighter woods.  Pat

never tried it on osage but I dont see why it wouldnt work. Ive used it on black locust several times with great results. ;D
Its November, I'm gone hunt'in.......
Osage is still better.....
